Hey there Deadites, Cheri here,
One thing that every haunt has to think of is marketing your haunted attraction. This is from all aspects of marketing from flyers, to commerical time, web banners, television appearances, social media, street teams, outdoor boards and more.
Many haunt owners tend to think of these things when it gets closer to the season. You are busy with your event. Getting rooms completed, last minute items in from vendors and getting actors and production teams in place. It is understandable why you wait, although shouldn’t.
Marketing is a key factor into your haunt’s success. It is marketing that is going to get those customers in the door so you can continue to play each and every haunt season. And with that said we always have you covered at Rotting Flesh Radio with education, interviews and our monthly segment DIGGING YOUR GRAVEYARD: Haunted Attraction Marketing.
In this monthly segment we bring you key tips and tricks to market your event. Last month we brought you an in-depth interview with Storm of Trails To Terror in Wakefield, RI. Storm covered some great key points from social media to preparing media in your area.
Now it is time to ask you Deadites. As a Haunt Owner, an Event Planner, Haunt Director, Manager and so forth what would you like to learn more about in Haunt Marketing. Digging Your Graveyard will be out this month. What do you want to know about marketing your haunted attraction, hayride, or event? Email me at: cheri@rfrpodcast.com so we can tackle the information you want to learn about. I look forward to hearing from you Deadites.
Until then Sit Back, Relax and Rot Away…
